• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with effective communication abilities with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze clinical documentation to ensure accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify doubtful or incomplete documentation for accurate coding.
• Ensure compliance with coding policies, procedures, governmental regulations, and payer guidelines.
• Monitor changes in coding practices and updates to relevant regulations, incorporating them into daily practice.
• Conduct pre-bill audits to ensure accuracy of coding prior to billing submission.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior coding staff on best practices and coding updates.
