Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • 2+ years experience as a B2B sales development representative with a track record of achieving lead/sales quotas.
  • 2+ years of sales experience in a SaaS and/or Ed Tech environment preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in initiating and nurturing relationships with customers using targeted outbound prospecting techniques.
  • 2+ years proficiency with SalesForce or other CRM.
  • C1 level written and oral proficiency in English.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work solo as well as a productive team member.
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar applications.
Responsibilities:
  • Represent the Turnitin product portfolio and understand customer needs.
  • Research and identify potential Secondary education institutional customers.
  • Generate leads and build relationships with prospects.
  • Manage a pipeline of interested prospects and collaborate with sales account executives.
  • Identify best practices for lead generation activities.
  • Utilize SalesForce, emails, and phone calls to create sales opportunities.
  • Build long-term trusting relationships to qualify leads.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities.
  • Set up product demonstration meetings between customers and sales executives.
  • Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly results to the sales manager.
