Requirements:

• Passionate about educating customers on observability risks and able to build evaluation plans.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to articulate business benefits and technical advantages.
• Experienced in programming/scripting with Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.JS, PHP, and .NET.
• Minimum of 3+ years in a Sales Engineering or DevOps Engineering role.
• Ability to travel via auto, train, or air up to 45% of the time.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Sales team to articulate Datadog's value proposition to customers.
• Own technical engagement with customers during the trial phase and address any issues.
• Technically close complex opportunities using competitive knowledge and credibility.
• Deliver product and technical briefings/presentations to potential clients.
• Maintain accurate CRM notes and feedback regarding customer input.
• Engage proactively with customers and internal teams regarding product feedback.
