Requirements:
  • Passionate about educating customers on meaningful observability risks and executing evaluation plans.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to articulate business benefits and technical advantages.
  • Experienced in programming/scripting with languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.JS, PHP, and .NET.
  • Minimum of 3+ years in a Sales Engineering or DevOps Engineering role.
  • Ability to sit for up to 4 hours and travel up to 45% of the time.
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Sales team to articulate the overall Datadog value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
  • Own technical engagement with customers during the trial phase by communicating Datadog’s value and addressing any issues.
  • Technically close complex opportunities using competitive knowledge and technical skill.
  • Deliver product and technical briefings and presentations to potential clients.
  • Maintain accurate notes and feedback in CRM regarding customer input.
  • Proactively engage with customers and internal teams about product feedback and competitive landscape.
