Accounts Receivable Specialist

Requirements:

• Passion for our mission of empowering small businesses to thrive.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance and accounting.
• Minimum of a high school degree, ideally a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance and accounting.
• English Proficiency- C1 and above.
• Intermediate technical skills (we use Slack, Gsuite, and Excel).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Risk, Client Success, Product and Engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Contact customers for payment information based on aging and resolve issues blocking payment.
• Follow up frequently for payment commitments and log information.
• Identify collection concerns and reconciliation issues that require escalation and escalate to Manager/Supervisor.
• Accurately research collection histories of new and existing customers.
• Perform reconciliations of accounts for problem resolution.
• Work effectively with other departments and customers as required to resolve outstanding issues.
