Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
Significant experience in strategic communications, media relations, and/or science communications.
Proven track record of high-profile communications strategies and campaigns.
Excellent oral communication, writing, and editing skills.
Fluent in English, with proficiency in Spanish and/or French highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development, implementation, and review of GFW’s global communications approach.
Oversee the communications team’s day-to-day management and guide team members in their work.
Manage media strategies, spokesperson training, and media outreach.
Evaluate success of communications strategies and ensure alignment with program goals.
Write and edit communications materials, ensuring adherence to GFW’s editorial style guide.
