Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of construction contract management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in legal, construction, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, project management, or related technical field.
• Strong background in commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects.
• Excellent understanding of legal terms and commercial concepts.
• Familiarity with project management techniques in complex organizations.
• Experience in negotiating, drafting, and executing contracts.
• Ability to develop reports for various audiences.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in client-facing roles.
• Ability to influence project teams and decision-makers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform market research and provide insights for procurement strategies.
• Develop project scopes of work according to contracting strategies.
• Create and obtain signoffs for Contract Execution Plans.
• Manage the RFP process, recommend contractor selection, and negotiate contracts.
• Implement change management systems for contracts.
• Track purchase orders and contract values using a procurement log.
• Support contract administration and ensure monthly payment applications are complete.
• Manage relationships with contractors and vendors to mitigate risks.
• Review project correspondence for client protection and compliance.
• Conduct contractor audits for compliance with contract terms.
• Support review and negotiation of claims and extensions.
• Stay updated on construction-related legislation and best practices.
• Mentor and train as required.
