Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience conducting AML investigations and SAR filings.
• Ability to apply investigatory techniques to ambiguous, complex fact patterns.
• Detailed understanding of financial products across the industry.
• Ability to manage confidential client and third-party information.
• Exceptional writing and research skills for regulatory reporting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with regulatory agencies and law enforcement.
• Experience interacting with senior management on sensitive cases.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage blockchain analytics and financial crime expertise for in-depth investigations.
• Conduct reviews of higher risk cases involving potentially illicit activities.
• Apply investigatory techniques to complex fact patterns for regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate AML and fraud-related alerts for Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) filings.
• Initiate requests and reviews to comply with the USA PATRIOT Act and internal policies.
• Maintain documentation to demonstrate compliance with regulations.
• Stay current with KYC, BSA/AML, and OFAC industry developments.
