Requirements:

3+ years of academic counseling experience in postsecondary education.
Bachelor’s or equivalent in Communications, Social Work, or related field.
Excellent listening and communication skills, especially in sensitive situations.
Self-directed and detail-oriented with creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate tasks across programs.
Proficient with Google Suite.

Responsibilities:

Advise degree-seeking and Executive Education Certificate students on study skills and program requirements.
Track metrics related to student progress and develop new interventions for retention.
Identify and outreach to students who have fallen behind academically.
Create individualized success plans and follow up regularly.
Engage with initiatives to support at-risk students and conduct presentations on program expectations.
Coordinate all aspects of the Valar Leadership Accelerator program, including participant support and progress tracking.
