Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, recreational therapy, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in program coordination, event planning, or recreational therapy, preferably in a healthcare or nonprofit setting.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of wellness principles, program development methodologies, and evaluation techniques.
  • Experience in staff and volunteer management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and host activities focused on promoting wellness, ensuring accessibility for participants.
  • Build relationships with local organizations to facilitate community support for program activities.
  • Provide guidance and resources to participants to promote engagement and well-being.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for successful program implementation.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and prepare reports for stakeholders.
  • Manage program budgets and seek funding opportunities.
