Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in Product Design or a related field.
• Previous experience contributing to design system component libraries and style guide documentation.
• Experience designing across platforms (mobile web and native app).
• Ability to utilize research and data to drive design decisions.
• Comfortable using Figma (or similar design program) as a primary design and prototyping tool.

Responsibilities:

• Move seamlessly between strategy and tactics to bring NerdWallet’s purpose to life.
• Navigate the tension between designing for revenue impact and user needs.
• Promote collaboration with cross-functional colleagues.
• Iterate on team processes to improve design quality and efficiency.
• Experiment with ideas to support an evolving user base.
• Elevate product design by understanding the audience.
