Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience providing psychiatric services to children, including diagnosis, treatment plan development, and medication management.
  • Licensed to practice in FL and have active DEA in FL.
  • Board Certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Expertise in managing clinical crises and providing a great patient experience.
  • Experience providing interdisciplinary collaborative care and working with children and families.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Comfortable with technology and experience with electronic medical records.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychiatric excellent care to children 0-14 and their adult caregivers as needed.
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management to children and families.
  • Engage with collateral informants/providers including educators and other professionals.
  • Communicate with families using the messaging feature of the Little Otter platform.
  • Work as a member of a collaborative care team to develop care plans.
  • Complete clinical documentation using the Little Otter platform.
  • Participate in regular collaborative care meetings.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies to enhance mental healthcare delivery.
