Android Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in developing mobile applications with increasing responsibility.
• 3+ years of Android, Java, or Kotlin experience.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Aptitude for complex system design and experience with agile methodologies.
• Prior technical leadership experience is preferred.
• Bonus for backend API development experience.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI, QA, and engineers to research, design, implement, test, and deploy new features.
• Act as a subject matter expert for your system area.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and resolve blockers.
• Contribute to implementation of improvements and monitor software performance.
• Refactor code for maintainability and write automated tests.
• Mentor Junior Engineers and provide technical leadership.
