Test Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years’ work experience in a testing role with experience in manual and automated tests.
• Working knowledge of continuous integration and automated testing tools.
• Experience testing web-based applications and API testing.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD processes.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages: C#/C++/Java/JavaScript.
• Experience with testing frameworks like XUnit / TestNg.
• Working experience with databases such as SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL.
• Understanding of testing methodologies and procedures, along with OOP concepts.
• Ability to write SQL queries.

Responsibilities:

• Understand requirements to develop and maintain automated tests using an existing framework.
• Create and execute manual tests, document results, and diagnose defects.
• Identify and create data needed for testing.
• Collaborate with teams for smooth software releases.
• Analyze logs and resolve defects.
• Perform functional, application, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Develop a deep understanding of the application to identify requirements gaps.
• Work as part of a scrum team in an agile environment.
