Requirements:

• Degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering, project management, or construction management.
• Civil or Electrical engineering experience and/or education is preferred.
• 5-10 years of energy utility substation deployment experience, managing large utility and/or EPC projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing and delivering projects from end to end.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Thorough understanding of project management control systems.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Experience managing complex projects and applying remedial measures.
• Proactive, resourceful, strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience developing countermeasures for project risks.
• Experience in project change control mechanisms.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple large and complex projects simultaneously while developing and maintaining good relationships with key stakeholders.
• Deliver projects to required quality and success criteria as per project contracts and specifications.
• Analyze problems and ensure follow-through to resolution.
• Act as contact point between organization and suppliers.
• Provide timely status updates to management and stakeholders.
• Serve as primary contact throughout project phases.
• Review contract conditions and ensure compliance.
• Document significant project events.
• Estimate budgets and track spending to deliver on budget.
• Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases.
• Keep projects on schedule to ensure timely delivery.
• Help identify, prioritize, and execute process improvements.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
• Ensure safety and quality plans meet requirements.
