Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience as a data engineer, ideally within the healthcare industry.
• Experience with modern big data technologies such as Databricks, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka.
• A solid foundation in Python.
• Experience designing and building solutions for data infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Performs advanced programming tasks to satisfy business requirements.
• Plans, designs, develops, tests various Data Infrastructure features, enhancements, or bugs.
• Takes technical leadership on design and development of new features.
• Works with colleagues to define, design, and break complex problems into actionable tasks.
• Contributes to new feature development and enhancements.
• Maintains unit/integration tests for all completed coding.
• Demonstrates leadership and mentors team members.
