Manager, Electrical Engineering

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineering license preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in data center engineering.
• Proven track record of completing data center design projects.
• Strong knowledge of data center electrical systems such as Substations, Emergency Generators, UPS, Lithium Ion Battery Plants, and Fire Alarm.
• Familiarity with EPMS and/or SCADA Systems.
• Experience with large-scale, high-density data centers and cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Professional certifications (e.g., Uptime Institute, BICSI) are a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage electrical engineering initiatives for our data centers.
• Oversee the design of electrical systems for new data center facilities.
• Develop and implement electrical engineering standards, processes, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and project management for cohesive coordination.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for electrical performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Collaborate on budgets, schedules, and resources for engineering projects.
• Identify areas for improvement in processes and procedures of electrical design.
• Work closely with 3rd party consultants and vendors.
• Review Design Drawings, Specifications, and Shop Drawings.
• Participate in a culture of innovation and excellence.
