Requirements:
  • 2-3+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management.
  • Strong skills in billing, coding, insurance verification, and claims follow-up.
  • Experience in behavioral health/mental health service line and telehealth billing preferred.
  • Experience in communicating with payers to resolve issues.
  • Proficient with Excel and data analysis.
  • Ability to navigate complex workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Review billing activity history and transaction records to answer client billing questions.
  • Work cross-functionally with clinicians on coding, billing, insurance verification, and general insurance queries.
  • Ensure claims are submitted timely and meet payer requirements.
  • Pull reports and analyze claims data to identify trends.
  • Support the Director of Revenue Cycle Management in resolving escalated disputes.
  • Recommend improvement measures for trending billing issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Assist with reconciliation projects between billing systems and payers.
  • Complete other assigned tasks and uphold HIPAA compliance.
