Requirements:

• Professional experience developing with Go.
• Experience with API development.
• Experience or interest in learning Terraform and Terraform internals.
• Interest in working in an open source software development environment.
• Enjoyment of collaborative work on a fast-moving remote team.
• Strong written communication skills, with understanding of code review tools.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, advocate for, and support new and existing features.
• Write RFCs addressing customer problems and potential solutions.
• Engage open source contributors and promote healthy community engagement.
• Empathize with end users to influence priorities and technical decisions.
• Participate in cross-team groups while becoming a subject matter expert.
• Enable teammates through technical contributions, code reviews, and pairing.
• Work with stakeholders to determine and prioritize critical features for success.
