Requirements:

• Minimum five (5) years clinical experience working as a Medical Assistant in an urgent care, emergency room, or busy family practice setting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant license is required.

Responsibilities:

• Offer assistance to patients by answering questions with empathy and precision.
• Help maintain and organize medical records ensuring their accuracy and confidentiality.
• Guide patients through insurance-related questions and claims procedures.
• Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, organizing appointments and delivering patient education.
• Reach out to patients for follow-up to ensure adherence to recommendations.
