Requirements:

• Experience in CAISO and/or Southwestern US energy markets.
• Knowledge of utility-scale solar and energy storage.
• Extensive knowledge of renewable power development and marketing.
• Understanding of interconnection, permitting, real estate, and relevant regulations.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex issues and make concise recommendations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Earth.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage development activities including site acquisition, title curative, interconnection, regulatory approvals, engineering, land use and environmental permitting, and financial valuation.
• Collaborate with functional team members, consultants, attorneys, advisers, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while managing budgets and schedules.
• Travel to site locations to meet stakeholders and evaluate sites.
• Engage with community and local/state institutions for project support.
• Support interconnection and permitting processes.
• Negotiate project agreements and arrange regular project meetings.
