Mental Health Therapist (NC License) - Part Time Evenings

Requirements:

• Licensed without restrictions as an independently licensed mental health therapist.
• Licensed in NC and the state of residence, with additional licenses in select states preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a school-based setting or with children.
• Knowledge of diagnosis, assessment practices, and treatment strategies for children's mental health.
• Preferred telehealth experience and strong technological skills.
• Effective communicator with strong organizational abilities.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses and go through credentialing.
• Bilingual candidates in specific languages are highly desired.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based virtual mental health counseling and interventions to K-12 students.
• Conduct initial mental health assessments and create treatment plans based on student needs.
• Perform clinical screenings and ongoing assessments of student progress.
• Collaborate with care management for successful service transitions.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation according to guidelines.
• Participate actively in clinical team meetings and trainings.
• Provide consultative telehealth crisis support as assigned.
