Requirements:

• Bachelor in Computer Science or Information Systems or 2+ years’ experience with corporate data management systems.
• 2+ years of experience writing complex SQL on large data sets.
• High proficiency in relational or non-relational databases.
• Knowledgeable about data compliance strategies and practices.
• Familiarity with Big Data environments.
• Experience with BI projects.
• Strong scripting experience with scripting languages.

Responsibilities:

• Identify data quality issues and collaborate with other teams to resolve them.
• Establish and monitor data quality standards and metrics.
• Investigate identified data quality issues and determine their root cause.
• Develop processes to check and ensure data quality as it is gathered.
• Train stakeholders on data quality best practices.
• Provide technical direction and mentor other data engineers.
