Part-Time Grader

Requirements:

• Prior experience using Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets), Zoom, and LinkedIn.
• Comfortable learning new tools like Canvas and Speedgrader.
• A laptop or desktop computer is required to participate in training and grading.
• Preferred: prior teaching, TA, or coaching experience.
• Professional work experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in a second language is an advantage.
• Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion.

Responsibilities:

• Grade assignments for an assigned group using rubrics and provide meaningful feedback.
• Support students flagged for academic or personal issues.
• Communicate student progress to the Braven team and Leadership Coaches.
• Attend one weekly virtual class to build relationships and provide support.
• Hold one hour of virtual office hours weekly.
• Proactively support students outside of office hours as needed.
• Internalize Braven's instructional content.
• Attend all live and complete additional asynchronous training.
