Requirements:

Extensive knowledge about AS400 hardware and software.
Familiarity with AS400 Security Management, Communications, Operating System Upgrades, and PTF deployment.
Technical capacity and proficiency in communication.
Strong organizational skills and thoroughness.
Ability for problem-solving and analysis.
Teamwork capability and initiative.

Responsibilities:

Administer daily the IBM AS400, including its hardware and software.
Assist in maintaining, installing, and configuring IBM AS400 hardware and software, including networked devices.
Develop and document processes for system utilities including backup/restore and performance tuning.
Test AS400 operating system and application software releases in various environments.
Implement application security groups and levels.
Lead projects for upgrading and enhancing technology solutions.
Monitor source code/versioning management according to technical guidelines.
Direct performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Provide technical support to employees.
Maintain compliance with IT regulations and processes.
