Database Administrator (DBA)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent education.
• 4+ years of experience in SQL Server database administration.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server versions 2016/2019/2022.
• Experience with On-Premises and cloud databases using SQL Server and Azure SQL Services.
• Proficient in SSRS, SSIS, or SSAS.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, T-SQL scripting, and normalization best practices.
• Experience with performance tuning, index analysis, and query optimization.
• Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, and constraints.
• Experience in troubleshooting database integrity and performance issues.
• Contributed to database design in a software development environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support and assist in the implementation of new and existing SQL systems.
• Conduct data conversions and migrations, and review stored procedures.
• Optimize database performance through day-to-day administration and maintenance.
• Manage On-Premises SQL Servers and Microsoft Azure SQL Services.
• Ensure system availability and execute backup and restoration tasks.
• Maintain all database environments, collaborate with teams, and document procedures.
