Requirements:

• Ph.D. in chemical engineering or related discipline from an accredited university.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Accountability, collaboration, organization, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office Products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with web conferencing tools (e.g., WebEx, Zoom, Teams).
• Knowledge of commercial process simulation and modeling software (e.g., Aspen Plus, Chemcad, gPROMS, Pro/II).

Responsibilities:

• Participate in technical projects with direct task responsibilities supporting the development of advanced process technologies.
• Provide technical insights to monitor project teams relative to milestones and manage risks.
• Assist senior-level RAPID technical team with research project teambuilding and engineering consulting.
• Strategize with senior-level staff for strategic program management.
• Evaluate and distribute tools and models in the RAPID Software Toolbox.
• Contribute to proposals for new funding opportunities.
• Travel approximately up to 20%.
