Requirements:

• Good all-round knowledge of Fire and Security Systems.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Fire & Security Installation.
• Technical background in the electrical/electronic industry.
• Experience with front-line customer contact is preferred.
• Knowledge of current industry standards and ability to commission multi-disciplined systems.
• Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to work independently.
• Highly organised, professional, and computer literate.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Small Works / Installations Team on small projects from inception to completion on CCTV, Access Control, Intruder, and Fire Alarm Systems.
• Liaise with the Lead Engineer on troublesome sites and critical issues.
• Maintain Fire & Security Systems in the region as needed.
• Ensure effective communication with customers and schedulers during site planning.
• Utilise customer portals as directed by the Lead Engineer.
• Assist the team with various tasks and support Service Engineers when required.
• Plan and respond to routine and reactive site visits.
• Manage stock levels with support from the Stores team.
• Attend training and Engineering team meetings when necessary.
• Identify personal training and development needs.
