Staff Infrastructure Engineer

Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• 8+ years of industry experience.
• Experience in building distributed systems.
• Skills in Linux troubleshooting and performance bottlenecks.
• Experience with ClickHouse administration or similar databases like PostgreSQL, Vertica, MongoDB.
• Understanding of network architecture with troubleshooting and incident resolution skills in a production environment, including writing post-mortems.
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes, including installation and configuration.
• Basic knowledge of high-level programming languages such as Python, GOlang, or Java.
• Configuration Management Skills and Infrastructure as Code support.
• Contributions to open source projects is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• As a Staff Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying, scaling, and maintaining services at the core of the Workato Platform.
• You will work closely with Data Engineers and Developers in a small, flexible team.
• Your role will impact the modernization and maturation of the platform, specifically infrastructure architecture decisions.
• You will focus on constructing a robust global distributed platform and address non-standard scaling and reliability tasks.
