Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, or CEH are highly desirable.
• 5+ years' experience in cybersecurity operations, focusing on threat detection and incident response.
• Proven experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
• Proficient in using IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection tools.
• Cloud incident response experience is required.
• Strong scripting skills in languages like Python or PowerShell for automation.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize advanced cybersecurity tools to detect and analyze security incidents.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of security alerts, identifying root causes and potential impacts.
• Support development of detection strategies for emerging threats.
• Monitor security tools and execute incident response activities, including containment and recovery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective resolution of security incidents.
• Provide expertise in post-incident analysis and continuous improvement of detection processes.
• Stay current with industry trends and recommend new tools as needed.
• Align security efforts with organizational goals in collaboration with IT and risk management teams.
• Communicate complex security issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
