Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
• Current LCSW license in Illinois.
• Experience in evidence-based treatments such as CBT, MI, ACT.
• Strong understanding of the gut-brain connection.
• Knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic principles.
• Skills in customer service, EMR, telehealth, and adherence to ethical principles.

Responsibilities:

• Implement SideBy Care’s Gut-Brain therapy program to help patients with functional GI disorders.
• Apply brain-gut psychotherapy interventions primarily through telehealth.
• Assess patient eligibility for program participation.
• Collaborate with medical providers and GI-focused dietitians.
• Provide education on gut-brain interventions as needed.
• Maintain clinical knowledge and document in EHR.
• Serve as patient advocate and role model.
• Engage in continuous education and suggest improvement opportunities.
• Prioritize flexibility to maximize patient access.
