Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current MFT, LCSW, or LPC license in California.
• Experience in evidence-based treatments such as CBT, MI, ACT.
• Strong understanding of the gut-brain connection.
• Fluent in Spanish.

Responsibilities:

• Implement SideBy Care’s Gut-Brain therapy program to assist patients with functional GI disorders.
• Apply psychotherapy interventions primarily using CBT via telehealth.
• Assess patient eligibility for the holistic program and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Educate medical providers and support groups on gut-brain interventions as needed.
• Maintain clinical documentation and serve as a patient advocate.
