Requirements:

• Korean/Japanese bilingual.
• Good command of English.
• Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
• Minimum of 2 years of translation and/or proofreading experience required.
• Knowledge of SSTG1Pro subtitling software (CANVASs) is highly desirable.
• Must have attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to work on a rigorous schedule with on-time delivery and flexible hours.
• Ability to follow technical/style guides for various client content types.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects of subtitle file creation, including conforming, timing, translating, and proofreading.
• Use SSTG1Pro subtitling software and/or Pixelogic cloud-based subtitling software.
• Leverage in-house glossary tools for consistency and adhere to client style guides.
• Manage file corrections and rejections.
• Stay updated with industry trends and adapt to client needs.
• Ensure confidentiality of sensitive content.
