Requirements:

• 3+ years of Java development experience.
• 3+ years of independent system design and implementation experience.
• Proficient in Linux.
• Experience with additional programming languages like Scala, Python, or C/C++.
• Experience in using big data components such as Spark, Flink, Hbase, and Hive.
• Experience in data warehouses is preferred.
• Experience in optimizing performance of big data software.
• Good written and spoken English skills.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to Spark kernel, fixing bugs and Apache Spark Jiras.
• Design and implement Big Data Spark solutions over Huawei’s public cloud.
• Handle software functions for large data volumes in distributed systems.
• Understand system architecture of the product/platform.
• Create solutions for module architecture and performance optimization.
• Participate in rapid product iteration and development.
• Write technical specifications and internal documentation.
• Solve customer bugs/issues.
