Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a network engineer in critical service industries.
• Strong experience with AWS services including VPC, Transit Gateway, and Direct Connect.
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise IT network environments and data center networks.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet Firewalls, Cisco switches, and routers.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for connectivity issues and production systems.
• Proficiency in networking protocols such as TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, and DNS.
• Experience in designing rack/cabinet/cage construction for resilient network infrastructure.
• Expertise in SD-WAN planning and implementation for multi-site environments.
• Knowledge of network monitoring and optimization tools.
• Familiarity with data analytics for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Solid understanding of network security principles.
• Comfortable working in a high-activity environment with shifting priorities.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Knowledge of Git and DevOps tools like Jenkins and BitBucket.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, integration, and implementation process for public safety products.
• Manage network projects including establishment, upgrades, expansions, and migrations.
• Configure and maintain networking hardware, ensuring best practices in network security.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform system upgrades autonomously.
• Effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and resolve complex problems.
• Collaborate with vendors to address network-related challenges.
