Requirements:

• Complete a 5-week mandatory training course in the Science of Reading Instruction.
• Commit to a minimum of 3 hours of consistent daily availability for tutoring.
• Navigate virtual platforms and personal computer hardware and software.
• Cultivate trusting, meaningful relationships with students and peers.
• Practice empathy, hold high expectations for students, and maintain professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily, one-on-one, 15-minute virtual tutoring sessions with the same students 5 days a week.
• Focus on the foundational reading skills essential for student success.
• Deliver Ignite Reading’s curriculum with fidelity and record student data.
• Meet performance standards for attendance, punctuality, instruction, and student learning.
