Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 8 or more years of multi-line underwriting experience.
• 3 or more years of leadership experience in direct management of staff.
• Public entity experience preferred.
• Proven record of growing a book of business through new business development and retention.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Direct leadership of a team of underwriters and territory managers.
• Coordinate with fellow leaders to ensure clear communication and understanding of goals and objectives.
• Functions as a member of the Trident Leadership Team.
• Assumes a leadership role in relationships with key producer partners.
• Assists underwriters in the review, underwriting, and pricing of renewals and new business.
• Onboard, train, mentor and develop underwriters and territory managers.
• Accountable for Financial Results and ensures compliance with company policies.
• Foster a collaborative environment between various teams and participate in assigned projects.
