Requirements:

• Interns must be a sophomore or greater.
• Pursuing a BS degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
• Strong work ethic and driven to learn and succeed.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Operations Staff on daily reporting from Borrowers.
• Understand the role of a Field Examiner.
• Attend weekly credit meetings with Loan Officers and the Chief Credit Officer.
• Participate in weekly Field Exam meetings for core Field Exam testing discussions.
• Collaborate with Staff and Senior Field Examiners on upcoming field exams.
• Write weekly summaries of learned subjects.
• Assist Field Exam Management with other assigned duties.
• Learn about different commercial lending products and the need for working capital loans.
• Discuss and learn the 5 C’s of Credit.
• Understand different types of collateral pools.
