Requirements:

• Interns must be a sophomore or greater.
• Pursuing a BS degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• Strong work ethic and driven to learn and succeed.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities:

• Work with Operations Staff on daily reporting from Borrowers.
• Attend weekly credit meetings with Loan Officers and Chief Credit Officer.
• Participate in group discussions during weekly Field Exam meetings.
• Collaborate with Staff and Senior Field Examiners to set up upcoming field exams.
• Write weekly summaries of learned subject matters.
• Assist Field Exam Management with other duties as assigned.
• Learn about commercial lending products and working capital loans.
• Discuss the 5 C's of Credit and understand different types of collateral.
