• Passionate about teaching coding and software engineering.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Python, Flask, SQL, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
• Experience in creating front-end Websites and Applications using JavaScript and React.js.
• Knowledge of best practices for creating Dynamic Websites.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Must utilize Zoom for video calls with students.
• Ability to provide meaningful feedback and think quickly on your feet.
• Empathetic with excellent communication skills.
• Bonus for knowing American Sign Language (ASL).

Responsibilities:

• Conduct weekly 30-minute video check-ins with students to discuss questions, projects, and career advice.
• Provide ongoing support outside of weekly calls to review projects and answer questions as needed.
• Critique work and give meaningful feedback on web development.
