Senior Software Engineer in Testing

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years work experience in a testing role.
• Experience in creating manual and automated tests.
• Experience testing web-based applications and API testing.
• Experience with Postman or SoapUI.
• Knowledge of SQL databases.
• Working knowledge of continuous integration, automated tools, industry standards, and test automation best practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD processes.
• Proficiency in English in a business environment.

Responsibilities:

• Understand requirements to develop and maintain backend automated tests using an existing automation framework.
• Create and execute manual tests, document test results, diagnose and create defects.
• Identify and create or obtain data needed for manual and automated tests.
• Perform functional, application, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Work as part of a scrum team in an Agile environment collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Involved in software releases and collaboration for smooth deployments.
• Assist in identifying root cause of issues and resolving defects.
• Champion testing best practices and improve testing methods.
