Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in an electrical engineering field or completion of an Electrical Design apprenticeship.
• Experience in developing designs, client briefs, and performance-related documentation.
• Working knowledge of electrical distribution systems.
• Knowledge of electrical power components and their operation and configuration.
• Understanding of LV Electrical circuit arrangements, calculation and selection of protection systems, cables and distribution.
• Drafting capabilities, both hand-drawn and CAD.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare technical performance specifications, designs, drawings, equipment schedules and reports.
• Decide on an approach to fulfilling the customer needs.
• Undertake discrimination, selectivity and cable selection.
• Design and selection of electrical components and systems for various projects.
• Develop performance, quality, tendering and Client documents.
• Develop cost plans and timelines.
• Carry out tender analysis.
• Issue and review technical RFI's and design submittals.
• Audit site infrastructure and hardware, conduct SPoF analysis, and provide recommendations.
• Identify and address problems.
• Develop concept designs.
• Witness and supervise commissioning and acceptance tests.
• Stay updated with international industry trends.
• Conduct research and apply new knowledge.
• Design processes and systems.
• Implement solutions and designs.
• Train other engineering personnel.
• European travel as required.
