Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with 4-6 years of experience or 8 years without a Bachelor's degree.
• Experience with nonprofit accounting is required.
• Experience in project management and/or client management.
• Demonstrated ability to work in multiple environments and balance client needs.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Grant accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end close following firm’s checklist.
• Create and analyze management financial reports.
• Prepare Board packages for Finance/Audit/Board meetings.
• Prepare books for year-end external audit.
• Ensure compliance with tax-related regulations.
• Develop and implement accounting policies.
• Supervise team members and embrace technology upgrades.
• Participate in engagement start-ups and deliver reports to clients.
