Senior Security Engineer

Requirements:

• At least 5 years working as part of a security team and/or security product team as an engineer, shipping production-ready code and solutions.
• Experience leading the development of, or significantly contributing to, security products/tools used daily either by customers or internal teams.
• Extremely proficient in Python.
• Additional experience and proficiency in Node/Javascript is welcomed.
• Experience with containerized deployment platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Run, Amazon ECS, Azure, K8s) is a plus.
• Experience using and maintaining CI/CD pipeline infrastructure; minimal maintenance such as Github actions is a plus.
• Natural curiosity and passion for learning.
• Ability to manage time effectively and passion for efficiency and collaboration.
• Business fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Conversational fluency and higher in any Asian language is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and respond to emerging security threats quickly and effectively.
• Curate significant data sources via modules, turning these into proactive alerts for potential critical and high-risk issues.
• Collaborate with incident responders to develop real-time threat analysis understandable to non-technical business owners and employees.
• Synthesize security product and business problems into engineered solutions using the most appropriate language, modules, and tooling.
• Engage in problem-solving first through planning and dialogue before moving to code and infrastructure setup.
