QA Engineer with ETL Experience (Part-time)

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in a QA role.
• Strong understanding of ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Talend, and SSIS.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying, data validation, and performance testing.
• Knowledge of Python.
• Experience with Databricks.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks like Selenium and JUnit.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
• Ability to document, execute, and maintain functional test cases and test artifacts.
• Understanding of requirements analysis and traceability.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with DWH/ETL developers to understand business requirements and technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for data validation.
• Perform ETL testing to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Validate data migration and transformation processes.
• Use SQL queries and Databricks for data mapping validation.
• Identify and document defects in DWH/ETL processes.
• Develop automated testing frameworks for data workflows.
• Monitor data quality metrics and conduct regression testing.
• Collaborate with business analysts to meet data requirements.
