• Minimum of 2 years working with Linux systems and shell programming.
• Experience with SQL, Toad, Splunk, and Alert/Event monitoring.
• Experience with payment systems.
• Skills in Windows and AIX server platforms.
• Experience in server-based applications support and maintenance.
• Full systems engineering lifecycle experience.
• Ability to work as a team member and independently.
• Mentorship capabilities for junior co-workers.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full life-cycle project management of server-based applications.
• Provide on-call support for outages and scheduled work.
• Collaborate with various teams including engineering and project management.
• Apply engineering principles in system design and enhancements.
• Document new components or modifications of systems.
• Ensure system security and compliance with industry standards.
• Perform engineering tasks in support of business needs.
• Research and configure new systems.
• Present information clearly for business decisions.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and incident resolutions.
• Translate business needs into technology solutions.
