Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory if other qualifications are met.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation claims adjusting.
• Experience with first-party comp and collision, and third-party property damage.
• Active adjuster license(s) required, with commitment to obtain necessary licenses within 45 days.
• Knowledge of state regulations, policy provisions, and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to analyze data and make sound decisions.
• Desire for continuous professional development and learning opportunities.
• Willingness to travel for client and claims needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt, courteous and high-quality customer service to policyholders and claimants.
• Gather necessary information to initiate claims and explain policy and coverage.
• Manage an inventory of claims and establish initial reserves.
• Coordinate vehicle repairs and assist with rental reimbursement.
• Recognize recovery opportunities regarding subrogation and salvage.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and policy provisions.
• Communicate and negotiate settlements with involved parties.
• Provide input for continuous development of claims guidelines.
