Requirements:

• A passionate advocate committed to Accountability Counsel’s mission and values.
• At least 6 years of fundraising experience with a track record in donor management.
• Exceptional writing, storytelling, and communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building capabilities and experience working across functional areas.
• Project management skills with a hands-on approach to challenges.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative and diverse environment.
• Experience with advocacy, human rights, law, and/or international finance appreciated.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to increase annual revenue and engagement of current supporters.
• Provide leadership and direction to ensure efficient time spent on fundraising by the Executive Director and other leadership staff.
• Serve as chief grant writer, managing proposals and reports.
• Strengthen fundraising operations processes and systems, ensuring effective tracking in the Salesforce database.
• Create strategic donor communications including stewardship touchpoints and presentations.
• Act as an ambassador for Accountability Counsel, managing a donor portfolio.
• Manage, mentor, and grow a development team of 2-4 people.
