Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Turkish interpreter.
• Exposure to medical, community, and legal interpreting scenarios.
• Proficiency in both English and Turkish.
• Certification in interpreting from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Exceptional listening, retention, and note-taking skills.
• Ability to navigate sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and efficient Turkish interpretation services across medical, community, and legal settings.
• Facilitate communication between non-Turkish speaking staff and Turkish-speaking children.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines and standards.
• Assist with translating written materials as needed.
• Promote best practices for working with interpreters among staff.
• Be sensitive to cultural differences and offer culturally appropriate services.
• Assist with scheduling, coordination, and administrative tasks.
