Requirements:

• Degree or Advanced Degree in Engineering.
• 5-10 years of experience in transmission line engineering in the electrical utility industry.
• Extensive experience in PLS-CADD, PLS-CAISSON, PLS-POLE, PLS-SAPS.
• Familiarity with design codes and standards such as NESC, IEEE, ASCE & ACI.
• Experience coordinating with substation engineering, Land, Permitting, and real estate teams.
• Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Effective communication with internal development teams and electric utilities.
• General Order 95 experience.

Responsibilities:

• Defining design requirements for transmission line projects from 34.5kV to 500kV.
• Managing sub-consultants for utility crossings.
• Routing and siting of new transmission lines for projects.
• Reviewing engineering submittals from consultants and EORs.
